It's the third time in the five-game series that a member of the MLB All-Star team has left early due to an injury. Seattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano suffered a broken toe after he was hit by a pitch Saturday and Rays reliever Jeff Beliveau departed the same game with a mild left lat strain.

The MLB All-Stars beat Japan 3-1 in the final game of the series.
