Boston Bruins defenseman Zdeno Chara will reportedly miss over a month with the injury he sustained on Thursday night against the New York Islanders.

The captain had two goals and one assist in nine games this season, leading all Bruins with an average ice time of 21:41.
Chara's long-term absence would be a major blow to a Bruins blue line that is already missing Kevan Miller, who is out indefinitely after dislocating his shoulder in a fight earlier this week.
