Raiders' Marcel Reece says team's performance 'embarrassing to our fans'

The Oakland Raiders suffered their fourth consecutive loss to start the season Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, and did so in blowout fashion yet again.

The Silver and Black had high hopes after a complete roster overhaul this past offseason, but early indications are that they have instead taken a significant step in the wrong direction, and fullback Marcel Reece is embarrassed by the product they have put on the field.

“It’s embarrassing to us,” Reece said via CSN Bay Area. “It’s embarrassing to the owner. It’s embarrassing to our fans, so many of whom came all the way out here and we didn’t give them anything to be proud of. We didn’t give them anything to root for. I feel bad for the fans mostly. They’re so loyal and so deserving. We’re not giving them anything right now.”

The Raiders have their bye week to look forward to when they return home from London, but time is already running out on this season.

With one of the league's toughest schedules, the Raiders are unlikely to win many games the way they have played thus far, and ownership could influence some drastic changes sooner rather than later as a result.
