The staff at French football club Stade de Reims have reportedly been unable to locate David N’Gog after the striker's hotel room was found vacant earlier this week, with no clues as to his whereabouts, according to L'Equipe.
The report, via EuroSport, says that an undisclosed illness forced the former Liverpool player to pull out of a trip to Lorient, and N'Dog has not been seen since a team doctor visited his hotel room last weekend.
The club is now unsure if N’Gog was legitimately suffering from a virus.
N’Gog signed with the French club during the summer after spending six years in England, which included spells with Liverpool, Bolton and Swansea City.
He's only appeared in one match for Stade de Reims this season.
