Here's what you need to know:

  • Donnell looks to be Manning's new favorite target. His three touchdowns on Thursday is production the Giants have seen from the tight end position in quite some time.
  • Manning seems to be slowly but surely getting a better grasp of the offense. He finished 28-of-39 for 300 yards and four touchdowns.
  • Kirk Cousins, on the other hand, didn't have his best night. He threw four picks, including three in the span of four possessions in the second half that essentially ended any hope of a comeback. Cousins also lost a fumble.
  • The Giants spread the carries around a little more Thursday. After getting 34 last week, Rashad Jennings carried just 13 times for 55 yards, while Andre Williams had 14 for 64 yards and a score.
  • Victor Cruz has now put two strong outings together in a row. He had six catches for 108 yards.
  • The Redskins top targets were silent. Pierre Garcon and DeSean Jackson combined for three catches and 37 yards.
  • Injuries loomed large for Washington. Niles Paul left with a possible concussion and Trent Williams was lost with a knee issue.
