With a seven-yard reception on the first drive of Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers, Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson tallied a catch for the 108th consecutive game, setting a franchise record.

Through the first quarter of play, the Lions and Panthers are tied 0-0. Johnson has three catches for 44 yards.
