While the injury of Zlatan Ibrahimovic was the biggest news to come out of Paris Saint-Germain's 2-0 win over Bastia on Saturday, another injury was suffered after the final whistle that you may not have heard about.

As both teams headed to their respective locker rooms, Brandao and Thiago Motta engaged in an altercation that left the PSG defensive midfielder with a fractured nose.

It remains unclear what triggered the incident, but in the video below, Brandao can clearly be seen headbutting Motta at the 0:14 mark after the two players approach each other.

Bastia manager Claude Makelele reportedly tried to calm down Motta following the headbutt, but his attempts weren't as successful as those from PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelafi, who is calling for Brandao to be suspended for life.

Furthermore, Motta wasn't the only player to be injured by the Bastia striker on Saturday.

This isn't the first time that the pair have clashed as a reckless challenge from Brandao last season left Motta rolling around on the ground in pain.
