Harry Redknapp vows to make Queens Park Rangers a contender upon their return to the Premier League and he's off to a good start with the addition of right back Mauricio Isla from Juventus on loan.

The Chilean international joined the Bianconeri in 2012, making 29 appearances. The 26-year-old found playing time hard to come by under Antonio Conte, as Juve enjoyed considerable success, thus not needing to alter an already potent formula.

With Rangers, Isla will get a chance to display his considerable talents. At Udinese he was a pillar on defense while offering dangerous counter-attacks with ease. He's versatile as well, as he can play on the backline as well as in the midfield.

QPR is also reportedly close to landing Cardiff's Jordon Mutch in a £5 million deal
