Scary news out of LSU as freshman defensive tackle Trey Lealaimatafao suffered a serious injury when he punched through a glass window in the team's weight room Monday. LSU sports information director Michael Bonnette confirmed the injury to The Times-Picayune.

Lealaimatafao was reportedly angered by a disagreement with his girlfriend and punched the window that separated the LSU weight room and indoor practice facility. Witnesses reported the glass "tore through" Lealaimatafao's bicep and bone was visible.

Early reports indicated that amputation was a possibility, although Bonnette told The Times-Picayune that will not happen. Lealaimatafao is currently undergoing treatment at hospital.

The 17-year-old Lealaimatafao was a four-star member of LSU's 2014 recruiting class. He recorded 65 tackles and seven sacks last season as a senior in high school.

Lealaimatafo sent out a tweet on Thursday morning to let everyone know that he's alright, though maybe a little worse for wear.
