After bouncing around between the NBA and its D-League last season, Glen Rice Jr. is hoping a strong summer league performance can help land him a more permanent spot on a reloaded Washington Wizards team this season.
The 23-year-old averaged 25 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists over six games at Las Vegas Summer League, earning him an MVP award for his efforts.
Rice Jr. appeared in 11 games for the Wizards a season ago, averaging 2.9 points and 1.8 rebounds while playing 9.9 minutes.
