Les Miles fawns over Leonard Fournette at SEC Media Days, compares him to Michael Jordan

LSU will enter this upcoming season with a lot of important faces from last year's squad having moved on, and needing to be replaced.

Luckily for the fans in Baton Rouge, the team has a very strong incoming class of recruits, most notably running back Leonard Fournette, the top running back recruit in the country.

Expectations are high for the true freshman this upcoming season, and Les Miles did nothing to temper those expectations in his opening session at SEC Media Days on Wednesday.

Asked how Fournette would pan out, Miles had this to say, via ASAP Sports:

Leonard Fournette is doing exactly what he should be doing. He's getting in the weight room, running, getting in great shape.  Pursuing the classroom, got great grades. He's quiet. He's not assuming. He's humble in his approach.

I think it's exactly where he needs to be. He expects himself to be something very special. I think if you look at Michael Jordan, he could not have been coached to be Michael Jordan. Michael Jordan accepted the role of expecting him to be better than any.

I think he has a quiet confidence there that will benefit him.

Hopefully for Tigers fans, Miles was referring to Michael Jordan the basketball player, and not Michael Jordan the baseball player, or Michael Jordan the NBA owner.
