The Philadelphia 76ers will stop at nothing to get to the absolute top of the lottery.

In addition to tanking the season, Chad Ford of ESPN is now reporting that the Sixers are trying to acquire the number one pick using a package involving their number three pick.

As noted by Ford:

The Sixers actually have engaged the Cavs about moving to No. 1. They aren't willing to give up both the Nos. 3 and 10 picks. But a combination of No. 3 and Thaddeus Young is a possibility.

Ford indicates that the goal of trading up to No. 1 would be to acquire Kansas standout Andrew Wiggins.

Young posted solid numbers with the Sixers this year. He averaged 17.9 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. The 25-year-old forward is a highly versatile two-way player. He carries a price tag of $9.4 million for 2014-15.
