Report: Maple Leafs looking at Craig Ramsay, Rick Tocchet as possible assistant coaches
The Toronto Maple Leafs may have their sights set on Craig Ramsay and Rick Tocchet as assistant coaches, according to John Shannon.
Ramsay, who won a Cup with the Tampa Bay Lightning as an assistant in 2004, was the last coach of the Atlanta Thrashers in the 2010-11 season, compiling a 34-36-12 record, but was let go by the new ownership group with their move to Winnipeg.
Tocchet, who played 18 seasons in the NHL, served as head coach of the Tampa Bay Lightning for two seasons (2008-2010), before he was let go on April 12, 2010.
Since we are talking about potential assistant coaches in Toronto, add the name Ted Dent...Hawks' AHL Coach in Rockford...to the list.

The Maple Leafs fired their entire coaching staff last month while retaining head coach Randy Carlyle.
