Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Marcell Dareus' latest brush with the law reportedly involves channeling his inner Vin Diesel and living his life "a quarter-mile at a time".

Dareus is facing three misdemeanor and four vehicle and traffic charges in Hamburg, New York stemming from an alleged car race.

According to The Buffalo News, the misdemeanor charges include reckless endangerment, reckless driving and participating in an illegal speed contest. While the vehicle and traffic violations are for leaving the scene of a property damage accident, speeding, failure to keep right, and moving from a lane unsafely.

As a class A misdemeanor, the reckless endangerment charge carries a sentence of up to one year in jail.

Dareus' alleged foray into the world of illegal street racing comes on the heels of his recent arrest for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, after he was caught with synthetic marijuana.
