"Every year, we figure out what moment in Cleveland sports history we're going to celebrate," said Neil Stein, assistant general manager for the team located in Eastlake, about 20 miles northeast of downtown Cleveland. "With the 25th anniversary, this was a natural."

Cerrano's relationship with Jobu was decidedly turbulent, as the famous doll was largely unresponsive to the outfielder's request for assistance in hitting the curve ball. Jobu's presence in the Indians clubhouse was also contested by veteran right-hander Eddie Harris, who later paid the price for his insolence.
