From a pure fighting perspective, Bellator's first pay-per-view event has to be considered a success.

Bellator 120 went down Saturday night in Southaven, Miss. and it was anything but a UFC castoff show. Boasting an exciting main card with enough surprise endings to make you think you were watching an M. Night Shyamalan flick - it was a pretty fun night of fights overall.

Michael Page channeled his inner Anderson Silva in a knockout of Ricky Rainey to get things started on the main card. The 27-year-old Brit showboated and literally danced around his opponent before earning the finish late in the first round.

In the Bellator heavyweight tournament final, Alexander Volkov submitted former Sambo world champion Blagoi Volkov to earn his rematch with Bellator heavyweight champion Vitaly Minakov.

The first big shocker of the night came when 39-year-old Tito Ortiz submitted Bellator middleweight champion Alexander Shlemenko in just over two minutes to earn his first MMA victory since July 2, 2011 when he upset Ryan Bader at UFC 132.

In the co-main event, Michael Chandler and Will Brooks engaged in a back-and-forth war that went a full five rounds before Brooks was awarded a split decision victory and the Bellator interim lightweight title after taking the fight on about a week's notice for the injured Eddie Alvarez.

Quinton "Rampage" Jackson earned a close decision victory over Muhammad "King Mo" Lawal who out-wrestled the former UFC light heavyweight champion but absorbed significant enough damage standing to lose the fight. Rampage called for an immediate rematch after the fight and said he wasn't happy with his performance.
