Penguins coach Bylsma after Game 7 loss to Rangers: 'I haven't contemplated what the price is going to be'

Charles LeClaire / USA TODAY Sports

The Pittsburgh Penguins were bounced from the 2014 Stanley Cup playoffs at the hands of the New York Rangers on Tuesday, and head coach Dan Bylsma was immediately bombarded with questions in regards to the future of the team and his role therewith.

Bylsma added "Our ultimate goal is to win the Stanley Cup... we haven't done that the past five years."

Whether general manager Ray Shero decides it's best to relieve Bylsma of his duties or make changes to the roster (or both), it appears as though the perception is that there will indeed be a price to pay for this latest disappointment.

Bylsma led the Penguins to a Stanley Cup victory in his first season behind the bench, but the team has made it past the second round only once since 2009.
