The Los Angeles Clippers were largely silent Saturday about the alleged racist remarks by the team's owner that were revealed in an audio clip obtained by TMZ.

Doc Rivers addressed reporters Saturday afternoon at practice, noting his players were all angry with the situation.

"JJ Redick was just as pissed as Chris Paul," Rivers said. "And that's the way it should be."

Players discussed a boycott of Sunday's Game 4 against the Golden State Warriors, but opted to reject the idea. The team held a 45 minute pre-practice meeting, according to Rivers.

"The biggest thing we can do as men, not black men, as men, is to stick together," the coach said.

Paul, president of the NBPA, issued a statement on behalf of the association.

On behalf of the National Basketball Players Association, this is a very serious issue which we will address aggressively. We have asked Mayor Kevin Johnson to expand his responsibilities with the NBPA, to determine our response and our next steps. As players, we owe it to our teams and our fans to keep our focus on our game, the playoffs, and a drive to the Finals.
