Claver will be active for the Blazers as long as Joel Freeland (knee) is sidelined, The Columbian reports.
Analysis:
Despite playing a modest role in the wing rotation as a rookie in 2012-13, even starting when injuries afflicted Wesley Matthews and Nicolas Batum, Claver has made just three negligible appearances among the Blazers' 53 games this season. Claver failed to take the floor in the team's first contest last Wednesday without Freeland, who is out 4-to-8 weeks due to a sprained MCL. In the interim, Claver may take the court occasionally, but his outings are unlikely to take place outside of garbage time.
