Cam Newton 'popped orange juices' at Waffle House after Sunday's win
Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton doesn't want to talk about his recent success, but he'll happily discuss how he celebrated Monday's 24-20 win over the New England Patriots.
"I went to Waffle House,'' Newton said Wednesday, via David Newton of ESPN.com. "Popped orange juices."
And his celebratory meal of choice?
"I order scrambled eggs, hash browns and cheese grits in one bowl with a light waffle ... extremely light waffle,'' Newton said. "Ah, man, to die for.''
Newton said he's always recognized when he walks through the door.
"Yeah, man,'' he joked. "I know them on a first-name basis. Walk in a Waffle House, 'Hey, what's up, Cam? Hi, Bobby. Cool.'''
