Report: TriStar Pictures lands Vince McMahon WWE biopic

A Vince McMahon biopic is coming.

TriStar Pictures is in negotiations for a film about the WWE chairman and CEO titled "Pandemonium," according to Rebecca Ford and Borys Kit of the Hollywood Reporter. The project was being shopped around last summer, but WWE and McMahon hadn't given it their blessing and studios didn't want to anger them.

TriStar went all out with its pitch, even going so far as to decorate its offices with WWE regalia, sources told the Hollywood Reporter.

Craig A. Williams wrote the script and Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, whose work includes "Crazy, Stupid, Love," will direct. Andrew Lazar is producing the project along with WWE Studios president Michael Luisi and Adam Goldworm of Aperture Entertainment.
