Houston Rockets guard Patrick Beverley has been fined $25,000 by the NBA for a confrontation with a fan identified as the son of Oklahoma City Thunder minority owner Jay Scaramucci. The incident occurred at the end of Game 3 of the Rockets-Thunder series on Friday.

Beverley jawed with Stuart Scaramucci during the game, a 115-113 Thunder win, and confronted him after the final horn before being pulled away.

Possibly the Rockets' best defender, Beverley has been wildly unpopular in Oklahoma City since the 2013 playoffs, when Russell Westbrook tore his meniscus as the result of a questionable collision with the guard.
