Bryant tops Cubs-dominated list of MLB's most popular jerseys
The Chicago Cubs' curse-breaking World Series championship has turned their group of young stars into the most popular players in baseball, as recent jersey sales are quickly proving.
Major League Baseball's early-season list of the best-selling player jerseys is almost entirely Cubbie blue, with four of the top five spots belonging to Cubs players.
Third baseman and reigning NL MVP Kris Bryant's No. 17 uniform tops the list, the league announced Friday, while the other half of the "Bryzzo" combo - first baseman Anthony Rizzo - checks in right behind him at No. 2. Infielder Javier Baez ranks fourth on the list, while left fielder Kyle Schwarber sits fifth.

Bryant's jersey previously grabbed the No. 1 spot in October 2015 during his award-winning rookie season.
Los Angeles Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw was the only non-Cub to have a top-five jersey, ranking third.
Somewhat surprisingly, it's Mike Trout - widely regarded as the best player in baseball - who rounds out the list at No. 10. His No. 27 Los Angeles Angels jersey trails the likes of young New York Yankees star Gary Sanchez (No. 9) and the Mets' Noah Syndergaard (No. 6).
Other top-10 sellers include Corey Seager (No. 7) and Buster Posey (No. 8).
Washington Nationals superstar Bryce Harper's jersey remains in the top 20, but did fall below the likes of Trout, Yoenis Cespedes, and Mookie Betts into the No. 15 slot.
