Johnson wasn't thinking about HOF during retirement ceremony

Andre Johnson's career warrants serious Hall of Fame consideration, but the former Houston Texans standout wasn't concerned about it during his retirement ceremony Wednesday.

Johnson was named to seven Pro Bowls and led the NFL in receiving yards in 2008 and 2009, and was the face of the Texans franchise before J.J. Watt was drafted in 2011.

For the time being, Johnson isn't thinking about Canton.

"People have mentioned it to me, but I haven't thought five years down the road," Johnson said via ESPN's Sarah Barshop. "But if it happens, it will be an exciting time."

Johnson spent his entire career within the AFC South, playing for the Texans from 2003-2014, joined the Indianapolis Colts in 2015, and spent his final season with the Tennessee Titans.
