South Carolina guard PJ Dozier will sign with an agent and remain in the 2017 NBA Draft, he confirmed.

The sophomore was expected to hold off on inking professional representation after declaring for the draft less than a week ago, but changed his mind over the weekend and decided to forgo his NCAA eligibility, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.

Dozier posted 13.9 points - albeit on suspect shooting numbers - along with 4.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game in his second campaign at South Carolina. The scoring average was more than double what he registered as a freshman.

The 6-foot-6 Dozier, who helped the Gamecocks reach their first-ever Final Four while serving as the primary complement to senior star Sindarius Thornwell, is projected be a second-round selection in June's draft.
