Marc Bartra is raring to get back onto the field after being the sole injured party in Tuesday's attack on Borussia Dortmund's team bus, but his manager Thomas Tuchel says he'll miss around four weeks.

Der BVB's transportation was rocked by three explosions Tuesday as the team made its way to the Westfalenstadion for a Champions League tie with AS Monaco. No one was killed, but Bartra had to undergo surgery after being hit by flying glass.

"It looks like Marc Bartra will return to the team in four weeks. He'd like to play now already," Tuchel told the Associated Press.

Bartra joined Dortmund from Barcelona last summer, and has made 18 Bundesliga appearances for the club this season despite a series of niggling injuries. He was already sidelined for Saturday's visit from ninth-placed Eintracht Frankfurt due to yellow card accumulation.

A four-week layoff could put him in contention for May 13's domestic trip to Augsburg, and maybe the second leg of the Champions League semi-finals a few days earlier if Dortmund can overcome a 3-2 aggregate deficit against Monaco.

Tuchel's youthful ranks are currently positioned fourth in the German top flight, albeit a huge 18 points short of leader and rival Bayern Munich.
