For a brief moment, it appeared as though Tony Romo was actually going to see action on an NBA court.
With the Denver Nuggets cruising to victory, Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle pretended to sub the former quarterback into the game, only to be pulled back by Dallas owner Mark Cuban.
Unsurprisingly, the prank was quickly met with boos by the American Airlines Center faithful.
