Harry Kane returns after month on sidelines

Harry Kane was brought on for Vincent Janssen after 61 minutes of Saturday's visit from Watford when Tottenham Hotspur was already 4-0 ahead at White Hart Lane.

The Chingford native managed just 10 minutes of last month's 6-0 battering of Millwall in the FA Cup before departing with an ankle injury, but returned to action before many would've anticipated - and even cracked the woodwork with a late free-kick against the Hornets.

Somewhat impressively for Spurs, a striker who had fashioned 19 goals and four assists in 22 league appearances wasn't missed. In his stead, Dele Alli, Heung-Min Son, and Christian Eriksen were standout performers in a run of wins over Southampton, Burnley, and Swansea City.

The comprehensive 4-0 defeat of Watford draws Tottenham to within four points of runaway leader Chelsea, but Antonio Conte's side can re-exert its authority with a win at Bournemouth later on Saturday.
