Thabo Sefolosha has reached a settlement with five NYPD officers in a lawsuit stemming from a violent incident outside a New York nightclub in April 2015, as confirmed by Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Terms of the settlement were not disclosed.

The Atlanta Hawks swingman sued the five officers last April after he was acquitted of three criminal charges. The 32-year-old reportedly accused the policemen of false arrest, false imprisonment, excessive force, and malicious prosecution.

Sefolosha sustained a broken fibula and ligament damage when he was taken into custody, forcing him to miss the remainder of the season with the Hawks.

Former teammate Pero Antic reportedly also sued the NYPD, but his case is still in progress.
