Early in the first quarter of Friday's game against the visiting Philadelphia 76ers, Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star guard Kyrie Irving's frustrations got the better of him, resulting in his second flagrant foul of the season.

Then again, perhaps he was just sticking up for his four-time MVP teammate.

As Sixers guard Justin Anderson chased down a ball that was heading out of bounds in the corner, Irving used both his hands to shove him into Philly's bench.

This came moments after Anderson knocked LeBron James to the hardwood with his right shoulder during an off-ball play.

Officials originally called for a personal foul on Irving, but elevated it to a flagrant-1 foul upon further review.

The reigning NBA champions had lost three in a row and four of their last five heading into Friday's matchup at the Q.
