Arm strength won't be a problem for Patrick Mahomes at the next level.
The Texas Tech quarterback, who's been generating momentum as a potential first-round pick in April's draft, showcased that ability as part of his pro day workout Friday.
Hail Mary throws are few and far between in game situations, and certainly no way to evaluate a quarterback, but it's easy to see why there's so much excitement about his raw physical gifts.
Mahomes should be particularly intriguing to teams looking for an eventual successor to a veteran starter. If afforded the necessary time to develop, there's reason to believe he has as much upside as any quarterback in this class.
