The New York Giants floated the idea of searching for Eli Manning's eventual successor on Tuesday. Head coach Ben McAdoo didn't shoot down a scenario in which backup quarterback Geno Smith could take the role.
That didn't sit well with one of the city's loudest newspapers, which expressed its disagreement in Wednesday's issue.

In case you weren't sure, the New York Daily News is not in favor of Smith as starting quarterback.
