Here is a look at the Squad Up daily NBA fantasy picture for Wednesday, March 22:

Dynamic Duos

  • SF Robert Covington (68K) and PF Richaun Holmes (59K), 76ers (at Thunder): Philadelphia's lone healthy center (even if he's a PF in Squad Up), Holmes played 42 minutes in the team's last game, scoring 24 points and adding 14 rebounds. Covington posted a nearly identical 24 points and 13 rebounds in 45 minutes. Despite a lack of depth, the 76ers should keep pace in what looks like a high-scoring matchup in Oklahoma City.
  • PF Kevin Love (52K) and PG Kyrie Irving (80K), Cavaliers (at Nuggets): Still underpriced after his return from injury, Love tallied 21 points and 15 rebounds against the Lakers on Sunday. Irving isn't quite as easy on the wallet, but he poured in 46 points in the outing. Neither player should be stifled by the Nuggets, who play at the eighth-fastest pace and rank 29th in defensive efficiency.
  • SG Bradley Beal (71K) and C Marcin Gortat (41K), Wizards (vs. Hawks): With PG John Wall (92K) perhaps not quite 100 percent due to a knee injury, it's safer to rely on Washington's secondary stars. Beal is a reliable scorer with the potential for an outburst. Gortat has averaged 10.3 points and 12.7 rebounds over three previous outings with Atlanta; a similar stat line would be a fair return at his relative bargain salary.

Bargain Plays

  • SF Paul Zipser (33K), Bulls (vs. Pistons): Zipser started and played a career-high 41 minutes on Tuesday, scoring 12 points and adding a combined 12 rebounds, assists, blocks and steals. Chicago lacks wing depth, so the German rookie should have to shoulder another heavy load on back-to-back nights.
  • C Cristiano Felicio (25K), Bulls (vs. Pistons): Should a suspension be handed down to C Robin Lopez for his role in Tuesday's fracas in Toronto, Felicio will likely get the call to start. The second-year big man has averaged a modest 4.9 points and 4.8 rebounds over 62 reserve appearances this season, but he has managed three double-doubles, all on occasions when he played at least 21 minutes.
  • SG Justin Holiday (25K), Knicks (at Jazz): With the Knicks in the mood to evaluate their young players, Holiday has received at least 25 minutes in each of his last two games, totaling 21 points and 14 combined rebounds, assists, steals and blocks. Despite coming off the bench for all but two of his 70 appearances, Holiday has managed to score in double-figures 20 times.

Top Fades

  • SF Carmelo Anthony (73K), Knicks (at Jazz): A matchup with Utah, which ranks third in defensive rating and plays at the league's slowest pace, is reason enough to stay away from Anthony, but there's more. A reported minutes reduction is expected to commence Wednesday. Anthony scored 16 points in just 25 minutes in his most recent outing.
  • PG John Wall (92K), Wizards (vs. Hawks): A knee injury doesn't look like it will keep Wall out of the lineup on Wednesday, but it may be impacting his play. Wall has scored below his 22.9 points per game average in each of his last three contests, shooting a combined 13-for-39 from the field. While Wall has recorded 36 assists during the stretch, he's not worth his top-tier salary if he isn't firing on all cylinders.
  • C Mason Plumlee (69K), Nuggets (vs. Cavaliers): Plumlee has been productive in starting alongside C Nikola Jokic in a double center lineup of late, averaging 9.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, four assists and 2.2 blocks over his last five games. Still, given his price tag and fluctuating workload (he played just 24 minutes against the Houston Rockets on Monday), a safer option like Boston Celtics C Al Horford (70K) is recommended.

Contrarian Options

  • PG Dennis Schroder (69K), Hawks (at Wizards): Schroder isn't one of the elite names at his position on a busy slate, but he scored a team-high 20 points in a blowout loss to the Charlotte Hornets on Monday with PF Paul Millsap (knee) sidelined. Millsap remains out, so Schroder again represents his team's best hope of keeping up with Washington.
  • SG Nik Stauskas (40K), 76ers (at Thunder): There aren't many appealing options at SG, so spending down on someone like Stauskas could be the best course of action. A second consecutive 20-point outburst isn't likely, but Stauskas did see 39 minutes of action on Monday, and he has enough of an all-around game to complement his 3-point bombing.
  • PF Jon Leuer (42K), Pistons (vs. Bulls): Now in a bench role, Leuer is a true boom-or-bust player. He managed just two points in 22 minutes against the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday, but he had 10 points and seven rebounds the game before. He had a strong outing against Chicago (14 points, six rebounds) earlier in March, and given how short-handed the Bulls are, Leuer looks primed for a bounce-back performance.
