Middlesbrough's Victor Valdes: Concedes three in loss

Valdes made three saves while conceding three goals in Sunday's 3-1 loss to Manchester United.

Analysis:

Valdes played well early in the match, but struggled after making a couple good saves. Valdes misplayed a cross by Ashley Young allowing Marouane Fellaini an easy finish and later slipped trying to clear a back pass in stoppage time allowing Antonio Valencia an easy tap in. Valdes has made 10 saves in his last three matches as the Boro seem destined for relegation. Valdes' next match is after the international break against Swansea.
