Antoine Griezmann can strike a set piece like the best of them.
Standing some 25 yards away from goal, the French superstar walloped an outrageous free-kick that spun off the bottom of the crossbar Sunday at the Vincente Calderon. His stunner gave Atletico Madrid a 2-0 lead over Jorge Sampaoli's struggling Sevilla.
Only Lionel Messi (six) and Valencia's Dani Parejo (four) have scored more than Griezmann's three goals from direct free-kicks since last season, according to Opta stats.
Atletico went on to beat Sevilla 3-1, closing the gap behind the third-place Andalusians to just two points.
