Watch: USC's Stewart sinks SMU with ice-cold triple

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

USC pulled off the first major upset of the NCAA tournament on Friday, as the 11th-seeded Trojans knocked off sixth-seeded SMU in a last-second thriller.

With the Trojans trailing by two and 40 seconds to play, Elijah Stewart canned an ice-cold triple from the corner to put USC up by one.

That would end up being the last points of the game as Shake Milton's buzzer-beating floater would rim out at the other end, giving the Trojans the win.
