  • LeSean McCoy - Shady's fantasy value remained intact thanks to Tyrod Taylor staying in Buffalo and should get a boost from the signing of Patrick DiMarco, who graded out as Pro Football Focus' top-ranked run blocking fullback in 2016. Health is always a concern, but another top-five fantasy season is well within reach.
  • Melvin Gordon - Goodbye Danny Woodhead. Hello sustained fantasy value.
  • Isaiah Crowell - After a quietly successful 2016 campaign, Crowell was heading in the direction of being a popular sleeper in this year's drafts. But with the Browns loading up their offensive line in free agency, fantasy owners are on high alert, guaranteeing Crowell's stock will ascend over the next few months. Depending how high his ADP rises, Crowell will be worth a look as an upside RB2.
  • Latavius Murray - While the blocking isn't going to be anywhere near as dominant as it was in Oakland, Murray will be given every opportunity to excel as Adrian Peterson's replacement in Minnesota. Whether he can deliver in the Vikings offense remains to be seen, but he's in position to be a low-end RB2.
  • Eddie Lacy - Another free-agent back hoping the grass is greener with a new team. The problem for Lacy will be the competition he faces from Thomas Rawls on early downs, and from C.J. Prosise in passing situations. If Lacy asserts himself in Seattle, there's an opportunity for him to become a poor man's Marshawn Lynch.
  • Ty Montgomery - With Lacy no longer in the picture in Green Bay, Montgomery is currently atop the depth chart. The Packers may have stumbled into something great when they began using the former receiver out of the backfield, and fantasy owners will be quick to capitalize if he remains the starter entering the season.
  • Danny Woodhead - The former Charger could destroy the fantasy value of the Ravens backfield, assuming the recently suspended Kenneth Dixon doesn't sewer himself first. As always, Woodhead will be PPR star.
  • Chris Ivory - If the Jaguars can turn the corner and start winning some games, Ivory may finally be able to lean on opponents and establish his fantasy footing in Jacksonville.
  • Patriots backfield - The Patriots backfield will be a situation to monitor well into the preseason as we try to gauge how the touches will shake out between Dion Lewis, James White, and Rex Burkhead. It's also possible Tyler Gaffney works into the mix or that the team brings someone else in to compete. What a nightmare for fantasy owners.
  • Marshawn Lynch - Will he come out of retirement to join the Raiders? If that doesn't end up happening, Oakland could be a potential landing spot for free agent Adrian Peterson, whose career could be revived by the Raiders' offensive line.
