Wade to undergo MRI after suffering elbow injury vs. Grizzlies

If things weren't already bad enough for the Chicago Bulls, they could soon get even worse.

Dwyane Wade will undergo an MRI on Thursday after spraining his right elbow in Wednesday's defeat to the Memphis Grizzlies. The 35-year-old left the game in the fourth quarter after getting tangle up with Grizzlies power forward Zach Randolph.

"My concern level is there’s only 14 games left, and I’ve never had this injury. So I can’t say two days, two weeks," Wade told K.C. Johnson of The Chicago Tribune following the contest.

While Wade wouldn't comment on the extent of the injury, he isn't feeling overly optimistic.

"Jimmy had something similar to this before. So I talked to him and I don’t like what he has to say about this," Wade said.

The 12-time All-Star is averaging 18.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.5 steals on 43.5 percent shooting this season.
