D'Angelo Russell has dubious line in loss to Rockets

D'Angelo Russell probably feels like throwing his own phone into the Gulf of Mexico after a hideous outing in the Lakers' 39-point loss to the Houston Rockets on Wednesday.
Russell became the first NBA player since Josh Smith in 2007 to foul out, have more turnovers than fouls, and fewer points than fouls. His line: five points, two assists, seven turnovers, and six fouls. He shot a putrid 2-of-10, including 0-for-5 from deep, and was minus-25.
Russell's experienced a rough shooting stretch after a nice run coming out of the All-Star break. In his last three games, he's shooting 26 percent from the floor and averaging just 8.7 points.
