Former Cal head coach Cuonzo Martin accepted Missouri's head coaching job Wednesday, the school announced Wednesday.

Terms of the deal were not announced, but Martin reportedly signed a seven-year, $21-million contract, sources told Jeff Goodman of ESPN.

Martin resigned from his position at Cal earlier Wednesday. He'd just finished his third season there, which ended with the Golden Bears being knocked out in the first round of the NIT tournament. In three years, he compiled a record of 62-39, leading Cal to the NCAA tournament in 2016.

Prior to being hired by Cal, the 45-year-old former NBA player coached at Tennessee from 2011-14, leading the Vols to one NCAA tournament and a 63-41 overall record.

He began his head coaching career at Missouri State in 2008, compiling a 61-41 record in three seasons.
