Wes Morgan can barely believe it.

The jubilant Leicester City captain took a moment to reflect on the Foxes' remarkable achievement after the club clinched a spot in the quarter-finals of the Champions League by topping Sevilla on Tuesday, and the hulking Jamaican centre-back was almost at a loss for words.

"Incredible, I can't quite believe it. We're newcomers in the Champions League, we didn't expect to get this far and here we are," Morgan, who scored the opening goal in Leicester's 2-0 win, said after the match, per ESPN FC.

"I'm not sure this is ever going to happen again, but we did it. We did it and we proved a lot of people wrong. It was a big game for us and a big night for everyone involved with Leicester and we've pulled off the impossible again."

Fellow goalscorer Marc Albrighton, once discarded by Aston Villa, echoed those sentiments.

"I'm a bit lost for words, what a night! I think we thoroughly deserved the victory, we pressed them from the first whistle to the last and rode our luck at times, defended triumphantly and to get the two goals against such a good team and keep a clean sheet is fantastic for us."

Leicester will now await Friday's quarter-final draw, with a glamour encounter against the likes of Barcelona, Bayern Munich, or Real Madrid a possibility.

"We'll just take whoever comes," Morgan said of the impending draw. "We'll enjoy the moment, it's fantastic night for Leicester. Let's dust ourselves down, we've still got to concentrate on the league. But we need to enjoy right now."
