Report: Charles to visit Seahawks despite Lacy signing
Aaron Doster / USA TODAY Sports
The Seattle Seahawks made their pick out of the crop of available running backs Tuesday, signing Eddie Lacy to a reported one-year deal. Fellow runner Jamaal Charles was scheduled to meet with Seattle on Wednesday, and that visit will continue as scheduled, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Tuesday's signing brings the number of potential starting Seahawk running backs to three with Lacy, Thomas Rawls, and C.J. Prosise already in the fold. The team also has Alex Collins and Troymaine Pope on the roster.
Is there truly a need for another rusher? Are the Seahawks forming the most diabolical ground game the NFL has ever known?
Stay tuned.
