Dos Anjos burns Covington after callout: 'I had to Google your name'
Yet to make his debut at 170 pounds, former UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos is already getting plenty of attention in his new division.
On Monday, welterweight Colby Covington responded to an article about Dos Anjos' financial motivation for changing weight classes by lobbying for a fight with the Brazilian star:
What makes financial sense is me whooping your ass in your back yard at #ufc212 @RdosAnjosMMA @ufc @seanshelby @danawhite https://t.co/ocQiSRXOnz

He followed up with another tweet claiming Dos Anjos isn't worthy of a big-name opponent just yet, prompting the latter to offer a Conor McGregor-like response:
@ColbyCovMMA hey man, I had to google your name to know how you are. Keep begging.

Covington is riding a three-fight win streak and sports a healthy 6-1 record inside the Octagon, but it's fair to say he caught an L in this exchange.
