Proceed with caution if you're about to pencil in Arizona all over your bracket.

Head coach Sean Miller has always built good teams, dating back to his days as an up-and-comer at Xavier, but he's still waiting for a breakthrough in the NCAA tournament.

Miller and the Wildcats are a sexy pick to reach the Final Four this year. They received a favorable draw in the West Region - at least on paper - and are in the same quadrant as Gonzaga, the most scrutinized of the four No. 1 seeds.

The Wildcats are coming off a Pac-12 tournament title, where they defeated national championship contenders UCLA and Oregon en route to the crown. They've won games in a myriad of ways this season thanks to a versatile roster that possesses the veteran experience some of Miller's previous teams may have lacked.

The best team Miller ever had might be the one he's coaching now.

But consider this: In nine trips to the NCAA tournament, Miller has gone home before the Final Four nine times. He's reached the Elite Eight four times, but has never wandered past that point.

Miller's March Madness resume

Sweet 16
At Arizona:

Nobody will be surprised if this is the year Arizona finally gets over the hump, as the Wildcats have both the talent and draw to make it happen.

But trusting Miller's teams has made fools out of many in the past. Beware, this year's Final Four takes place on April Fools' Day.
