Porzingis feels Knicks are confused 'from top to bottom'
The New York Knicks (26-41) are still trying to figure out who they are as a team, and forge some semblance of an identity as the 2016-17 regular season slowly reaches its conclusion.
"We’ve been switching things up because at any point of this season, we never played like we wanted to,” Kristaps Porzingis said following his team's 120-112 loss to the lowly Brooklyn Nets on Sunday, according to Newsday's Al Iannazzone. "It was like, ‘Maybe this will work. Maybe this will work.’ So we’re kind of looking for stuff.

"Coaches, they obviously try to do the best job they can and give us as much as they can so we have the information. But we never really got it all together and were able to execute the way we should have. It’s been a lot of confusion."
Part of the frustration stems from the Knicks being force-fed a triangle offense that not everyone on the roster is necessarily on board with. Team president Phil Jackson has even gone out of his way to personally teach some of the guards how to run it properly,

Adding that the confusion reaches "from top to bottom," Porzingis wants the Knicks to at least end the season on a high note, whether that's through finding common ground amongst the players on the hardwood, winning games, utilizing an offense that works, or a combination of the three.
"The situation is tough," Porzingis added. "We’re not doing the right things. We’re just not working together right now. We need to find solutions. Whatever 16, 15 games we have left, we have to give everything we have so we can finish the season not regretting anything."
The 21-year-old had 19 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, and five blocks before fouling out after 33 minutes of action against Brooklyn.
