Here are the fantasy implications of the Washington Redskins signing free agent WR Terrelle Pryor Sr. from the Cleveland Browns. The impact of Pryor's departure on the Cleveland receiving corps is assessed here.

It's been a tumultuous few days in Washington's front office, but the team was nevertheless able to reel in Pryor, who should help to fill the void left by departing free agents DeSean Jackson (Tampa Bay) and Pierre Garcon (San Francisco).

2016 marked Pryor's first full season as a wide receiver, and the former Oakland quarterback was a revelation for both the Browns and fantasy owners, recording a 77-1,007-4 receiving line through 16 games.

It's safe to say that Pryor's numbers could have been even better with a more competent quarterback at the helm. The motley crew of passers who lined up under center for the Browns combined to throw 15 touchdowns against 14 interceptions, and only four teams averaged fewer than Cleveland's 204 passing yards per game.

With Kirk Cousins signing his franchise tender on Friday morning, it appears that he'll ply his trade in Washington for at least another season. Cousins' 4,917 yards passing ranked third among all quarterbacks, though he only managed to throw 25 touchdown passes.

Though Cousins' heart may be set on a move to San Francisco, he'll surely like the acquisition of Pryor, who forms a potent pass-catching trio with slot receiver Jamison Crowder (67-847-7 last season) and TE Jordan Reed (66-686-6 in 12 games).

With Jackson and Garcon skipping town, the Redskins' receiving corps loses a combined 135 catches, 216 targets, 2,046 yards and seven touchdowns, so there's plenty of opportunity for Pryor to carve out a role as one of Cousins' top targets.

Per Fantasy Football Calculator, Pryor's average draft position for the 2017 fantasy season sits 81st overall, and 32nd at the WR position. That placement assumed he was going to remain in Cleveland, so his stock looks set to rise given his quarterback upgrade and assured role atop the depth chart in Washington. Expect another 1,000-yard season with a fair rise in touchdowns.
