Harden sets new NBA single-season record for turnovers
Using 34.1 percent of the Houston Rockets' possessions (fifth in NBA) on a nightly basis, while sitting atop the Association in assists per game, has led to All-Star guard James Harden being prone to turning the rock over at a historic rate for a second year in a row.
With six turnovers Wednesday night in Houston's 115-108 loss to the visiting Utah Jazz, Harden has established a new single-season record for total turnovers with 376, breaking the mark he set in 2015-16 of 374.
The 27-year-old played a full 82-game slate that campaign, and has 17 games to go this season to add to his 376.
