Report: Rams set to sign Andrew Whitworth to 3-year, $36M deal

The Los Angeles Rams have the framework for a deal to sign left tackle Andrew Whitworth, according to the agency SportsTrust Advisors.

The deal is worth $36 million over three years with $15 million in guarantees, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.

That is top-five left tackle pay for the 35-year-old Whitworth. The deal likely means the Rams' experiment with former second overall pick Greg Robinson at left tackle is officially over. Robinson is expected to move to right tackle or guard.
