Sanchez looks to quash rumours of feud with Instagram post

Alexis Sanchez is doing his part to bury the (imaginary?) hatchet.

Reports broke Sunday that the Chilean was benched against Liverpool as punishment for walking out on a training session earlier in the week and inciting anger among his teammates. Arsenal bench boss Arsene Wenger came out Monday to deny the widespread claims.

Now the electric 28-year-old attacker - who eventually came on and set up the Gunners' only goal in the 3-1 loss at Anfield - seems to be doing his part to quash suggestions he was being punished for the alleged bust-up.

"The true warrior fights not because he hates the ones in front of him, but because he loves those behind him," Sanchez's Instagram post reads.
