Watch: Potential No.1 pick Garrett runs blistering 40-yard dash time

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

Myles Garrett continued to prove he's superhuman at the combine Sunday, even in a gifted defensive lineman class.

The potential No. 1 overall pick ran an official 40-yard dash time of 4.64 seconds, which is even more impressive considering he stands at 6-foot-4 and 272 pounds.

Garrett's unofficial 10-yard split of 1.63 seconds was also one of the top times.

Garrett's time ended up being the one of the fastest overall after the second group ran, with Haason Reddick (4.52) and Takkarist McKinley (4.59) among the few to top the former Texas A&M edge rusher.

While few doubted Garrett's elite athleticism, this strong start to his main day at the combine should erase any remaining doubts about whether he's worthy of being selected by the Cleveland Browns at the top of the draft.

Garrett even stumbled through his second run, struggling to keep his balance, and he still managed to put up an unofficial time of 4.74 seconds.

Here are some other notable times from the first group of DL:

Trey Hendrickson Florida Atlantic 4.65
Carl Lawson Auburn 4.67
Tim Williams Alabama 4.68
Solomon Thomas Stanford 4.69
Charles Harris Missouri 4.82
